Meet Jesse Harding Campbell

Jesse Harding Campbell is a nationally recognized agricultural communicator, former farm broadcaster, and founder of Marsh Wren Creative, an award-winning agricultural communications company.

Curiosity has always been one of Jesse's greatest strengths. Her journalism career taught her to ask questions, understand different perspectives, and know the audience before deciding how to tell a story. Moving from southern Illinois to Nebraska also meant learning a new side of agriculture, from different crops and production systems to different challenges facing farmers and ranchers.

Her work in farm broadcasting earned recognition from Nebraska Press Women, the National Federation of Press Women, and the National Association of Farm Broadcasting (NAFB), including being one of the youngest recipients of the NAFB Horizon Award.

​

As her career evolved, Jesse took on a broader role in communications and event planning. She has managed agricultural conferences and industry events from the initial planning stages through execution, where keeping track of the many moving pieces and making sure the details are right is just as important as the overall plan.

​

Jesse started Marsh Wren Creative after seeing an opportunity to provide specialized communications expertise and additional capacity to agricultural communications teams. Many have small, capable departments, sometimes just one person, responsible for a wide range of work. They don't always need another full-time staff member. Sometimes they need a particular skill set, another perspective, or extra support to get an important project across the finish line.

Her client work through Marsh Wren Creative has also earned recognition from the Agricultural Communicators Network (ACN).

Raised on a hobby farm in southern Illinois, Jesse now lives in central Nebraska with her family. Outside of work, she enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time outdoors with her children.
